RoboCop: Rogue City’s New Expansion Will be Out on 17 July

RoboCop: Rogue City's 'Unfinished Business'

“Dead or alive, you’re coming with me!” Fans of RoboCop, prepare for an expansion of the Rogue City game! The official release date for the Unfinished Business expansion has been set, and it promises more of that fantastic RoboCop justice we know, along with fresh action and villains.

What is Rogue City in RoboCop?

RoboCop: Rogue City is a first-person shooting game in which you take on the role of a well-known police officer who is half machine and half human. As the city’s strongest law enforcement officer, you must hunt down criminals, investigate crimes, and make difficult decisions in this game, which is set in the crime-filled streets of Old Detroit (exactly like the movies!).

The best thing about it? The actor who portrayed RoboCop in the first two films, Peter Weller, is back to provide the character’s voice! This indicates that it has the same feel as the original RoboCop from the movies.

The 2023 release of the game was a huge success, and the Unfinished Business expansion is just making it more exciting.

The ‘Unfinished Business’ Expansion: What’s New?

A brand-new plot, new missions, and additional methods to combat crime are all included in the Unfinished Business DLC, which provides additional game material. Here’s what to expect:

1. A Whole New Journey

Immediately following the conclusion of the main game, this expansion continues. The term “unfinished business” refers to RoboCop’s involvement with hazardous criminals. This time, armed mercenaries have taken control of the OmniTower, a skyscraper, and he must battle his way to the top.

2. Additional Explosive Action

This addition is packed with huge battles, large explosions, and shootouts, much like the main game. You’ll defeat enemies in novel ways by using RoboCop’s formidable weaponry, such as his well-known Auto-9 handgun.

3. Without the Base Game, Standalone Expansion Is Possible!

The good news is that this addition may be played without the original Rogue City game! You can get straight into the action even if you’ve never played before because it operates independently.

4. New Challenges & Enemies

In this expansion, the crooks are more cunning and resilient than before. Every floor of the OmniTower presents a new threat, and you will encounter lethal mercenaries.

5. More About the History of RoboCop

The expansion delves further into RoboCop’s history and his ties to the Detroit community. There are some interesting surprises for cinema buffs!

What Date Is It Out?

Make sure to mark the following dates on your calendars: Unfinished Business

17 July 2025
You can play in a few more weeks, that’s correct! You can access the expansion on:

  • Xbox Series X|S
  • PC (Steam & other stores)
  • PlayStation 5 (PS5)

What Makes You Excited?

This addon is essential whether you enjoy action games, RoboCop, or simply blowing up bad dudes. This is the reason:

  • More RoboCop action: This includes even more missions if you liked the main game.
  • Standalone narrative: You can play without the original game.
  • The OmniTower is full with obstacles, including more difficult opponents and bigger battles.
  • The voice of Peter Weller: The authentic RoboCop has returned!

What Do Fans Have to Say?

Gamers have been quite thrilled since the announcement. Some claim that the new trailer makes them think of Judge Dredd, which is another excellent police drama set in the future. It is highly complimentary for others to say that the story reminds them of something from a Marvel comic.

Additionally, RoboCop: Rogue City, Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and Digimon Story are all available for free on PlayStation Plus until May 5th!

Conclusion

The 17th of July is very close! Unfinished Business is looking to be a fantastic expansion with more RoboCop justice, larger battles, and new objectives.
